Personal Injury Paralegal
We’re looking for someone to handle cases in our pre-litigation personal injury department. As a paralegal/case manager, you will handle cases and assist in filing claims. You will manage our clients medical treatment and bills, assist in demand writing, provide assistance in negotiating health insurance reductions and closeout of cases.

Experience
- No experience is needed, but experience is an advantage. We provide training and support and a dedicated training supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Uphold our goal to provide clients with exceptional customer service, and we prioritize communicating with them in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
- Manage no-fault (PIP) payments, health insurance payments, MA/Medicare payments and provider liens.
- Manage cases from intake through to conclusion in an organized and comprehensive manner.
- Process medical insurance payments and monitor amounts paid. Troubleshoot any issues that may arise in the treatment and billing process.
- Meet deadlines.
- Multi-task, and keep in touch with clients often to update the team on new developments.
- Keep attorneys and staff updated on case progress and troubleshoot insurance claim issues with attorneys.
Essential Requirements
- Previous personal injury claims/litigation experience a plus.
- Previous legal office experience a plus.
- Associate’s degree or higher.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent and friendly customer service skills.
- Ability to problem solve and flexibility adjusting task priorities.
- Computer and technology proficiency required including Dropbox, MS Office 365, Adobe Acrobat, Outlook, and working in a paperless office environment scanning documents and working with electronic documents in PDF format.
- Previous experience with medical terminology a plus.
- Ability to work alone and also work collaboratively in a team environment.
Compensation
Compensation is competitive and based on experience. We offer health insurance, 401k with employer match, paid PTO, Friday afternoons off in summer, free on-site parking, and a flexible work environment.
